A Message from Pastor Gary
Newsletter November 2026 Reasons to be Thankful
I thought I might take a different approach to my article this month. Rather than share some spiritual or
Biblical information to edify you, I thought I might simply thank you for all that you do here at Peace.
Here’s an analogy that is meaningful to me. When I stand behind the altar, I can see everything that is
going on in worship. I can see the choir, the organist, the congregation, the ushers, and even the
livestream attendant. Likewise, as the pastor I can see all the branches of ministry that take place here
at Peace.
The staff at Peace do a tremendous job. Our committees do tireless and meaningful work. There are
other volunteers among us that don’t necessarily belong to committees, the unsung heroes that work
behind the scenes doing things that keep us moving forward, often with enhancement. I greatly appreciate
those of you who say kind things to me after worship. It is very affirming.
November is most popularly known for a major holiday, Thanksgiving. I am profoundly thankful for all of
you. You are worth celebrating.
Blessings
Pastor Gary
