The CROP Hunger Walk is a nationwide movement sponsored by Church World Service to raise funds to end hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world.
Our church will be promoting a team again this year. This will be our Faith and Fellowship fundraiser from Sunday, September 15th to Sunday, October 13th.
This year’s CROP Hunger Walk is scheduled for Sunday October 13. It starts at 1 p.m. The starting point is St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church on Dill Street in Perkasie.
25% of the money raised by walkers goes to Pennridge FISH. The remaining money goes to alleviate hunger in this and other countries.
Walkers can complete the five-mile course or can walk a one-mile loop called the Golden Mile.
Church members can participate by being a walker, and/or donating to sponsor a walker. Everyone can pray for the team.
